We just can't get enough of this place! We have been so lucky to go there twice this summer. This time we were able to attend the Kite Festival. I had no idea what to expect. The kites were beautiful and the choreographed kite "dances" were . . . interesting. It's one of those things you have to see in person. I didn't really get a good picture because it was pretty foggy on this particular day, but there were sooo many kites in the air. We had pretty good weather on all of the other days. It's always a little cooler on the Peninsula, but we had some good sun and little rain.

This is Matt flying Derek's power kite on the buggy.

My trusty stead. Not the horse.

This is our favorite bike ride to do. It's near the top of the peninsula at the Leadbetter Park. We start on the bay side and end up on the beach/ocean side. It was pretty intense - like it always is - but this time I was so scared we were going to see a bear and it was starting to get dark. Luckily, no bear this time, but plenty of dangerous tree branches. EEEK!

Climbing up the tree house.

The most amazing 4 wheeling.

And for the best part.... the baby horses! I think this little guys name is Harley.

Matt giving Gizmo a little love.
