California Love

My sister-in-law works for jet blue and offered us tickets, so we took them and decided to go to Cali for the weekend. It was a spontaneous trip and somewhat last minute. We decided to make the time we have without children really count. We headed to Disneyland the first day and then followed by San Diego the second day. It brought back a lot of memories going to California and it was fun to make some new ones as well. I really enjoyed the weekend with Matt and not having to worry about anything.

Matt's Dad lives in San Diego so we spent part of the day with him in Coronado. I love this island we did so many fun things l and of course took a tour of Scott and Nancy's(Uncle and Aunt) home there. It was SO SO cute. It makes me want to redecorate my house all nautical. Or just have a beach house :)
La Jolla where we spent the last night. It felt so romantic on the beach, watching the sun set, seeing all the brides taking there pictures and eating our PB&J sandwich.
The Highlights:
~ Riding bikes and rollerblading in Coronado
~ Glenn playing the Harmonica to random people on the beach
~ Disney Dave- KSL half price tickets SUPER SKETCHY!
~ Our Hotel the first night and getting walked in on by the maid
~ The baby Geese, duck and turtle
~ Watching the Laker fans when Dallas beat them at the sports bar and really yummy mahi mahi
~ Indiana Jones Ride
~ People watching in Disneyland

  1. Ive heard of doing the tickets off KSL! Did they end up working, I can handle a little sketchiness to save a buck or two lol? The maid situation is my biggest fear with hotels lol thats too funny! Sounds like you had a great little trip!
