Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication

I am actually sad conference is over. I thought it was absolutely wonderful. I love waking up and staying in my cozy pj's all day. I am just so grateful that we get to hear inspired words from our prophet and apostles. I feel there is always so much info and things I want to remember, thanks to my new app that I have on my phone I can now listen to them as I drive to school. My favorite talks were Elder Uchtdorf's talk on Saturday morning, and President Monsons talk on gratitude. They were all good in their own ways, but these two really stuck out to me. I also REALLY love FALL! We went on a beautiful horse back ride today and all the trees were soo pretty. I love everything about Fall. Pumpkin bread, the cute decor, the smell..ooo the smell of pumpkin spice and mulled cider. (If you are looking for a good smelling candle for fall, go to Wal-Mart they honestly have the best candles and they are only 3 dollars.) I feel so domestic and want to cook something new everyday. I have a really great and super easy tomato soup recipe for fall:

1 can/bottle Classico (tomato basil)
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt

2 C heavy whipping cream (seems like a lot of fat to me so sometimes I will only do 1 1/2 cup and the rest milk)
Rice- cook rice and then when ready to serve add a 1/2 C to each serving ( I have tried white and brown rice and they are both good)
Optional fresh basil to top
This is one of our favorites I hope you like it if you try it! Happy Fall!
I thought this was a cute picture

  2. Those two were also my favorites. I usually don't like fall because that means it is getting cold, but I am trying to embrace it this year and enjoy it. You and Matt are so cute on your horses!
