This summer has been packed with many fun things, adventures, and A LOT of horseback riding. We took the horses up to the Oakley cabin for the summer so we have been able to go up there quite a few times. The more and more I go up there I want to live in the country someday. One Matt's favorite things in Oakley is the smell. The air smells so fresh. I love the wildlife, the big moose, fox, deer and bobcat.
Me and my mom in front of the Cabin. It had just rained before we took this picture and it was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so green and fresh!
This was early summer when Nina and Shawn helped us take the horses up to Oakley. I need to be honest, this trip was brutal. We got a late start so we were trying to hurry, well Shade (the baby horse) wouldn't get in the horse trailer. She ended up falling on a car and doing some damage and by the time we got to Oakley is was dark. Thanks Nina and Shawn for coming along!
Preston with Frosty. True Cowboy right there!
All four of us in a two man tent! Woot! The flash was far too bright to look at so we all closed our eyes for this pic. We rode the horses up the canyon and made a camp. Derek and M'kenzie made a great dinner. Thanks guys!
